We are close to two great hiking/biking trails.
The first is the The Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway. It is the closest with over 50 miles of paved road and trails to explore. From the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway website:
Start anywhere along the Byway route. There’s something to see or do in all directions and in all seasons. Enjoy stunning scenery and recreational opportunities year round along the Byway’s navigable roads with; thirteen interpretive kiosk sites, miles of walking and biking trails (8 ft shoulders) and bikeways (6-8 ft shoulders), and access to lakes, brooks and rivers including historic Whitefish Chain of Lakes and the Pine River.
